Fortune Chinese Food: Reviews & Ratings

The food wasn't spectacular and it wasn't awful, either. It was simply "good". The chow mein was bland and the rice was a tad bit soggy-it looked like it was shorter than short grain rice. It wasn't "white" in color so I have to imagine it was cooked with some spices or broth. Yet, like the chow mein it lacked flavor. A miniature egg roll is included along with one of those deep fried cream cheese stuffed dough triangles. We ordered the orange chicken as the main dish and it was "good". The service was quick and for a "take-out" that prepares orders as they are received, I'd say they were "very good", customer focused, and responsive. So, this rating largely reflects the service and PRICE. In 2024, the $12 lunch special is an exceptional value-especially since the portion is still very generous when split among two people. This would bring the price point down to $6 per person. And, "yes" I'm stuffed! So, if you are hungry, don't have time for a full-service restaurant and don't want to pay full service restaurant prices for your typical fast food drive thru, then you should definitely consider Chinese food from this tiny take-out.

My son loved the bbq pork fried rice. This place is another hole in the wall but it's only for takeout. 10 minutes and the food was ready for pickup. It's hot and fresh. Chinese food is meant to be eaten fresh and hot out of the kitchen - not to-go. Don't expect to be amazing especially if you order something crispy. Other than that, this place is solid.

Absolutely stellar experience at Fortune Chinese Food! From the moment I walked in, the service was lightning fast--easily the quickest I've ever encountered. The dishes were incredibly fresh and the flavors were simply amazing, a delightful dance on the palate! The icing on the cake was the hospitality shown by the two lovely ladies running the place; they were genuinely warm and welcoming. A solid 10/10 for me--I'll definitely be coming back for more!

The definition of a hole in the wall. The food is so good and you get a huge serving for the price point. There is no seating or dine in option so call ahead so you limit your wait time. Every item I have ordered has been tasty with no complaints. They also offer party size ordering for all of their menu items. The selection of entrees is extensive so there really is something for everyone.

My first time here. Take out only so it doesn't really matter to me with the place looks like. I ordered chicken, chow, fun, one ton, soup, and potstickers. Let me tell you... Those potstickers were mammoth sized, and I loved every bite. Would definitely return just for those. Mike, the potstickers, the chow fun was amazing. I love those fat noodles. The soup was for my friend so I didn't try but she liked it. The ladies there were sweet and it made me feel welcome. This is just around the corner from me, so it looks like this is my new place to go for Chinese!

We decided to try out a new Chinese Food place instead of going with our regular restaurant. So glad we did not only was the service fast but very friendly. The menu has so many options we'll have to go back and try another dish soon. I had the beef with broccoli and my hubby tried the shrimp with broccoli. Both had delicious flavor. The chow mein and rice were delicious full of flavor. For the lunch special a crab wonton and spring roll are included both yummy. The portions are huge and each lunch special was $10 well worth it. Dining in wasn't an option but it's ok the staff was very friendly while we waited for our lunch. Often times some restaurants may go cheap on the entree but that didn't happen here. Highly recommend.
